Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will take ownership of designing and refining prompts that guide large language models to generate high-quality outputs. Your work will involve collaboration across multiple teams to align AI behavior with business goals. You will also lead efforts to test, evaluate, and improve prompt performance through data-driven iteration.
Design, refine, and evaluate prompts for large language models and AI-powered applications.
Build prompt templates, system instructions, evaluation sets, and reusable prompt patterns.
Test AI outputs for accuracy, consistency, safety, tone, and usefulness.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and domain experts to define AI behavior.
Analyze failure cases and improve prompts through iteration and structured experimentation.
Support development of AI agents, chatbots, copilots, summarization tools, and content-generation workflows.
Document prompt strategies, assumptions, edge cases, and best practices.
Stay current with AI model capabilities, limitations, and prompt engineering techniques.
What You’ll Bring
You will succeed in this role by bringing experience with generative AI tools and strong communication skills that help translate complex tasks into clear instructions. Your analytical mindset will enable you to systematically test and improve AI outputs while collaborating effectively across teams.
1 to 3 years' experience working with generative AI tools, large language models, or AI-assisted workflows.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
Ability to break complex tasks into clear instructions and evaluation criteria.
Familiarity with prompt techniques such as few-shot prompting, chain-of-thought style reasoning guidance, role prompting, structured outputs, and tool-use instructions.
Basic understanding of APIs, JSON, data formats, and software development workflows.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to test, compare, and improve AI outputs systematically.
Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Azure AI, or similar model platforms.
Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, SQL, or no-code/low-code automation tools.
Experience designing AI evaluations, guardrails, or content safety checks.
Background in product, technical writing, data analysis, machine learning, UX, or software engineering.
Experience building AI agents or retrieval-augmented generation workflows is a plus.
Understanding of embeddings, vector databases, fine-tuning, and model evaluation is beneficial.
Portfolio of AI workflows, prompts, automation tools, or chatbot projects is an advantage.
